Day 1 Istanbul – Cologne – Amsterdam
After meeting with a representative from turumbu.com at the airport in the morning, we will set off for our flight to Cologne. Upon arrival, our city tour of Cologne will begin. Cologne, one of Germany's oldest cities, has a history spanning over 2,000 years. Located by the banks of the Rhine River, the city is famous for its magnificent cathedral, vibrant cultural scene, and historical buildings. Cologne is especially known for the Cologne Carnival and is an important center for media, tourism, and business. During our city tour, we will visit places such as the Cologne Cathedral, Museum Ludwig, Rhine River, Cologne City Museum, Hohenzollern Bridge, and the Old Town.
Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom): Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest cathedrals in Europe, Kölner Dom is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture. Visitors can explore the beautifully decorated interior with stunning stained glass windows and climb the tower for panoramic views of the city.
Museum Ludwig: Located near the cathedral, this museum houses modern art from the 20th century and beyond. One of the largest collections of works by Pablo Picasso is displayed here, along with pieces by pop artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

At the end of our tour in Cologne, we will also have the chance to experience Turkish döner in a famous döner restaurant in Germany. After our meal, we will head to Amsterdam. Upon arrival, our city tour will start. Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and one of the most popular tourist destinations. The city is known for its famous canals, historical buildings, museums, cycling culture, and liberal lifestyle. Amsterdam also has a dynamic atmosphere that blends art, history, and modern culture. Some of the places we will visit include the Rijksmuseum, Red Light District, Jordaan District, Canals, Vondelpark, Dam Square, Anne Frank House, and Van Gogh Museum.
Rijksmuseum: As the most important museum in the Netherlands, the Rijksmuseum houses works from the 17th century Dutch Golden Age by artists such as Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Hals. The museum is a paradise for art lovers and showcases the development of Dutch art.
Van Gogh Museum: Home to the world's largest collection of Van Gogh’s works, this museum displays hundreds of the artist's pieces, letters, and drawings. It is a must-visit for those wanting to gain in-depth knowledge about Van Gogh’s life and art.

Day 2 Amsterdam - Grand Holland Tour
After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will explore and discover the Netherlands in more detail. Among the places we will visit are; Rotterdam, The Hague (Den Haag), Utrecht, Haarlem, Delft, Giethoorn, and Maastricht. At the end of the trip, we will check in at the hotel for overnight accommodation.
Day 3 Amsterdam - Brussels
After our breakfast, we will depart for our tour in Brussels. Upon our arrival, the city tour will commence. Brussels, known as the capital of Belgium and the center of the European Union, offers a blend of historical and cultural richness alongside the dynamic structure of a modern metropolis. From medieval architecture to modern art galleries, cosmopolitan atmosphere to rich cuisine, Brussels has many features to appeal to every visitor. Some of the places we will visit include Grand Place, Atomium, Manneken Pis, Parc du Cinquantenaire, Belgian Royal Palace, European Parliament, Mont des Arts, Magritte Museum, and Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral.
Grand Place (Grote Markt): Known as the heart of Brussels, Grand Place is a magnificent square surrounded by 17th-century Baroque architecture. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the square features historic buildings such as the Brussels Town Hall and Maison du Roi. The square is particularly enchanting when illuminated at night.
Atomium: Built for the 1958 World Fair, Atomium is one of Brussels’ landmarks. This structure, modeled after a giant iron crystal made of steel, is impressive in both engineering and artistry. It offers visitors a unique experience with its exhibitions and city views from the top dome.
Manneken Pis: Another famous symbol of Brussels, Manneken Pis represents the city’s fun and free spirit. This small bronze statue, dating back to the 17th century, is dressed in various costumes on important days and is beloved by the public.

Day 4 Brussels – Luxembourg – Metz
After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will set off for Luxembourg. The city tour will take place upon our arrival. Luxembourg is a small country with a rich historical and cultural heritage. With its natural beauties, historical castles, charming towns, and vibrant cities, it offers a diverse range of experiences for visitors. During our city tour, we will visit the Old Town, Grand Ducal Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Vianden Castle, Müllerthal Region, Clervaux, and Echternach.
Old Town: A UNESCO World Heritage site, the old town is renowned for its narrow streets, historical buildings, and magnificent views. You can visit important structures such as Adolphe Bridge and Bock Casemates.
Grand Ducal Palace: The official residence of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, this palace offers a unique sightseeing experience.
Notre-Dame Cathedral: Built in Gothic and Renaissance styles, this cathedral is regarded as the religious center of Luxembourg.
Vianden Castle: This castle, dating back to the Middle Ages, is one of the best-preserved castles in Luxembourg. It is located in the town of Vianden, 50 km from the city center. You can use walking paths to explore the castle and its surrounding forests.
Müllerthal Region: Known as "Little Switzerland," this area is ideal for nature lovers with its lush valleys, waterfalls, and hiking trails. We will visit Schiessentümpel Waterfall, one of the most famous locations in the region.
Echternach: The oldest town in Luxembourg, Echternach is famous for its historic monastery, narrow streets, and traditional architecture. The Echternach Dance Festival held annually is also quite popular.
Clervaux: Located in northern Luxembourg, this small town is known for Clervaux Castle and the Benedictine Monastery. You can also see the famous photographer Edward Steichen's "The Family of Man" exhibition here.
After the tour, a short break will be given. Immediately after this break, we will travel to Metz. Since our arrival will be in the evening, we will conduct our city tour under the lights of the city and have dinner after the tour. After our meal, we will check in to the hotel for overnight accommodation. Places we will visit include Metz Cathedral, Metz Central, and Medieval Walls.
Day 5 Metz – Paris
After our breakfast, we will begin our journey to Paris. Upon arrival, we will start our city tour. Paris is known worldwide as the capital of art, fashion, history, and gastronomy. This enchanting city, situated along the banks of the Seine River, offers a different discovery at every corner. Paris captivates visitors with its romantic atmosphere, iconic structures, and rich cultural heritage. Among the places we will visit during our two-day Paris trip are the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Sacré-Cœur Basilica, Champs-Élysées, Montmartre, and Sacré-Cœur Basilica.
Eiffel Tower (La Tour Eiffel) Iconic Structure: The most recognized symbol of Paris, the Eiffel Tower was constructed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World Fair. The tower has three levels, and you can take in panoramic views of Paris from the top.
Louvre Museum (Musée du Louvre) The World's Largest Museum: A former royal palace, the Louvre houses one of the world's most famous art collections. The museum's most renowned piece is Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa."
Notre-Dame Cathedral / Gothic Architecture: One of the most important religious buildings in Paris, Notre-Dame was built in the 12th century. The cathedral is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture. Restoration works are ongoing following the fire that broke out in 2019.
Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur Basilica / Artists’ Hill: Montmartre is known as the artists' neighborhood of Paris, famous for its narrow streets, bohemian atmosphere, and small cafes.
Sacré-Cœur Basilica: This white basilica is located on one of the highest points in Paris and offers a stunning view of the city.
Champs-Élysées (Avenue des Champs-Élysées) Shopping and Entertainment: The most famous avenue in Paris, the Champs-Élysées is known for its luxury shops, cafes, and theaters. This wide boulevard stretches from Place de la Concorde to Arc de Triomphe. The avenue is also famous for its nightlife and restaurants.
Day 6 Paris
After breakfast, we will continue to explore Paris. Among the places we will visit today are the Palace of Versailles, Picasso Museum, and Orsay Museum. We will also enjoy a fantastic boat tour.
Palace of Versailles (Château de Versailles) / Royal History: Located about 20 km from Paris, the Palace of Versailles is France's most impressive royal palace. The splendid Hall of Mirrors (Salon des Glaces) and the vast gardens inside the palace are must-see attractions.
Seine River Tour: A boat tour on the Seine River is a fantastic way to see Paris' famous landmarks from the water.
Picasso Museum and Orsay Museum: For art enthusiasts, these museums showcasing modern and classical art pieces must not be missed.
Day 7 Paris – Rouen (A full day's tour of the NORMANDY region will take place)
After having breakfast, we will head to Rouen for our Normandy tour. Normandy is filled with historical and natural beauties located in the northwest of France. The capital of the region, Rouen, stands out with its medieval architecture and rich historical and cultural heritage. Normandy is also famous for the D-Day Landings and the landscapes that inspired Monet. Among the places we will visit during our journey are Rouen Cathedral, Gros Horloge, Jeanne d'Arc Church, Rouen Medieval Streets, and Mont Saint-Michel.
Rouen Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen): One of France's largest and most impressive Gothic cathedrals, Rouen Cathedral has served as an inspiration for Monet's famous painting series. The tall tower of the cathedral is one of the city’s symbols.
Gros Horloge / Historical Clock Tower: This astronomical clock dating back to the 14th century is one of Rouen's most notable structures. You can climb to the clock tower for a bird's eye view of the city's streets.
Jeanne d'Arc Church: Built in 1979, this church was erected in memory of Jeanne d'Arc in the city’s old marketplace. Medieval stained glass windows are displayed inside.
Rouen Medieval Streets: Rouen is famous for its half-timbered houses from the Middle Ages. Streets like Rue du Gros Horloge and Rue Saint-Romain reflect the city’s historical atmosphere.
Mont Saint-Michel / UNESCO World Heritage: One of the most famous tourist spots in Normandy, Mont Saint-Michel is a medieval abbey rising on an island. Surrounded by tides, this structure has significant religious and strategic importance.
Day 8 Rouen – Paris Airport – Istanbul
Unfortunately, it is the last day of our trip. Transfer to Paris and free time based on our flight schedules for the flight to Istanbul and return home. We hope to meet again at another turumbu.com organization.
