Day 1 Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport – Kars
Departure for Kars. Kars is a city famous for its historical and natural beauties located in the northeastern part of Turkey. On our first day, we will visit places such as Kars Castle, Ani Ruins, and Kümbet Mosque.
Kars Castle: Located in the city center, Kars Castle dates back to the Seljuk period and has a commanding position over the city. By visiting the castle, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Ani Ruins: One of Kars' most important historical sites, the Ani Ruins is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can see churches, mosques, and walls from the Byzantine period.
Kümbet Mosque and Tombs: The Kümbet Mosque in the center of Kars is a historical mosque from the Seljuk and Ottoman periods. The tombs in the city are also among the important historical buildings.
Day 2 Kars – Gori
After having a local breakfast at the hotel and a short break, we set off for Gori. Gori is a city located in the center of Georgia that is rich in history and culture.
Stalin Museum: The most famous tourist spot in Gori is the Stalin Museum, which includes the birthplace and memorial grave of Joseph Stalin, one of the leaders of the Soviet Union. The museum exhibits Stalin's life, personal belongings, and photographs.
Gori Fortress: Located in the city center, Gori Fortress is a castle that dates back to ancient times. The fortress preserves its historical fabric and offers panoramic views of Gori.
Uplistsikhe Ancient City: Located about 10 km from Gori, Uplistsikhe is an ancient city carved into the rock. This ancient settlement, consisting of cave temples, palaces, churches, and tunnels, has historical and archaeological significance.
Gori Ethnography and History Museum: The Gori Ethnography and History Museum is an important museum to understand the city’s history and cultural heritage. It exhibits local costumes, handicrafts, and historical artifacts.
Gori City Center: The city center of Gori is filled with local markets, cafes, and shopping spots. You can explore the local life and cultural atmosphere by wandering around the city.
Day 3 Gori – Tbilisi
After having a local breakfast at the hotel and a short break, we head to Tbilisi. Tbilisi is the largest city in Georgia and is the cultural, historical, and economic center of the Caucasus, noted for its rich historical heritage, vibrant atmosphere, and stunning views. During our visit, we will see places such as the Old Town, Narikala Fortress, Rustaveli Avenue, Metekhi Church, the Opera Theatre, Mtatsminda Park, and the TV Tower.
Old Town: The historical and cultural heart of Tbilisi, Old Town is famous for its narrow streets, colorful houses, ancient churches, and historical buildings. Narikala Fortress and the iconic Kartlis Deda statue are located here.
Narikala Fortress: This ancient fortress, dominating Tbilisi, offers panoramic views of the city. It can be reached by cable car, and you can explore the history of the city while walking around the fortress.
Rustaveli Avenue: The main avenue of Tbilisi, Rustaveli Avenue is lined with various shops, restaurants, museums, and theaters. It is an ideal place to see the modern face of the city.
Kura River and Bridge of Peace: The Kura River, which divides Tbilisi, adds a unique beauty to the city. The Bridge of Peace, located over the river, features a modern design and offers great photo opportunities.
Metekhi Church and Statue: This historical church, located by the Kura River, overlooks the old part of Tbilisi. Next to the church stands a statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, who is considered the founder of Georgia.
Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre: This theatre, an important part of Georgian culture, hosts various opera and ballet performances. It is a must-visit for art lovers.
Mtatsminda Park and TV Tower: Located at one of the highest points in the city, this amusement park offers breathtaking views of the city. You can reach it by cable car and enjoy the park.
Day 4 Tbilisi – Baku - FLIGHT
After having a local breakfast at the hotel and a short break, we set off for Baku. Our flight and arrival. Baku is a capital that presents a rich cultural heritage combining historical and modern elements. While in Baku, we will visit places such as Old City, Flame Towers, Ateshgah Fire Temple, and Shirvanshahs Palace.
Old City: The historical center of Baku, Old City is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can find historical buildings, mosques, palaces, and narrow streets.
Flame Towers: The modern symbol of the city, the Flame Towers are three skyscrapers that shape the skyline of Baku. They are especially eye-catching at night with light shows.
Ateshgah Fire Temple: This temple from the Zoroastrian period is known as a place dedicated to fire. It is located outside of Baku, in the town of Surakhany.
Shirvanshahs Palace: Built in the 15th century, this palace is one of the most important historical buildings in Baku. It is a striking example with its architecture and decorations.
Day 5 Baku - Ganja
After having a local breakfast at the hotel and a short break, we set off for Ganja. Ganja is the third largest city in Azerbaijan and has historical significance. During our tour, we will see places such as Nizami Park, Ganja City Museum, Shah Abbas Mosque, Ganja Fortress, and Bottle House.
Nizami Park: Located in the center of the city, Nizami Park is an ideal place for relaxation and walking. The park features various sculptures and flower gardens.
Ganja City Museum: Ganja City Museum is an important museum showcasing the city's history and cultural heritage. The museum displays ancient artifacts, handicrafts, and local costumes.
Shah Abbas Mosque: Built in the 17th century, Shah Abbas Mosque is one of the oldest and most important mosques in the city. The mosque is notable for its Persian architecture and interior decoration.
Ganja Fortress: Ganja Fortress is one of the city’s historical defense structures. This fortress, dating back to the Middle Ages, is situated on a hill overlooking the city.
Bottle House: Located in the city, the Bottle House is a unique structure made of used bottles. This house, created with the colors and patterns of the bottles, is an interesting visit point.
Day 6 Baku
After having a local breakfast at the hotel and a short break, we will set off to explore more of Baku. The places we will visit include the Boulevard and the Azerbaijan National Museum.
Boulevard: This spacious seaside promenade in Baku is one of the city's most popular spots. Here you can find cafes, restaurants, and recreational areas.
Azerbaijan National Museum: Located in the city center, this museum boasts a rich collection that narrates the history, culture, and art of Azerbaijan.
Day 7 Baku – Istanbul
Unfortunately, this is the last day of our tour. After having a local breakfast, we will transfer to Baku airport. NOTE: Only breakfast is available today.
