Escape from Friday to Sunday: Zurich Tour
Day 1 Istanbul - Zurich
After meeting at Istanbul airport in the morning, we will head to Zurich. Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland and is known as the country's financial center. Located on the banks of the Limmat River and at the northern end of Lake Zurich, the city stands out with its historical texture, modern buildings, art galleries, museums, and high quality of life. Known as one of the most livable cities in Europe, Zurich is also a fantastic tourist destination. Bahnhofstrasse, Lindenhof, St. Peter's Church, Grossmünster, and Fraumünster Churches are among the places we will see on the first day in Zurich.
Bahnhofstrasse: Bahnhofstrasse, Zurich's main shopping street, is one of the world's most luxurious shopping streets. Famous boutique stores, cafes, and banks are located on this street.
Lindenhof: Lindenhof, the highest point of the old town, is considered the historical heart of Zurich. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Zurich and the Limmat River.
Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches: The Grossmünster and Fraumünster churches, the most important religious buildings in Zurich, have great historical and architectural significance. You can see the city from above from the towers of Grossmünster, and in Fraumünster, you can view Marc Chagall's stained glass windows.
St. Peter's Church: St. Peter's Church, the oldest church in Zurich, has the largest clock face in Switzerland.
Day 2 Zurich
After our breakfast in the morning, we will continue exploring Zurich. Kunsthaus Zürich, Swiss National Museum, Rietberg Museum, Üetliberg Mountain, Bürkliplatz, and the Lakeshore are among the places we will visit.
Bürkliplatz and the Lakeshore: This is an ideal place for walking by the lake, relaxing, or taking a boat tour. You can sit in the parks by the lake, ride a bike, or swim in the lake.
Kunsthaus Zürich: Kunsthaus, one of Switzerland's most important art museums, showcases the works of world-renowned artists like Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, as well as Swiss artists' works.
Swiss National Museum (Landesmuseum Zürich): This museum is ideal for those who want to learn about Switzerland's history and culture. It has a wide collection spanning from the Middle Ages to the present.
Rietberg Museum: This is the only large museum in Switzerland dedicated to the arts of Asia, Africa, America, and Oceania. It offers a beautiful experience both inside and outside.
Üetliberg Mountain: Üetliberg, the highest point in Zurich, offers a panoramic view of the city. With walking and biking trails, it is a perfect escape for nature lovers. When you reach the summit, you can see the magnificent views of Lake Zurich and the Alps.
Day 3 Zurich - Istanbul
Unfortunately, it is the last day of our trip. Transfer to the airport and free time according to our flight schedule for the flight to Istanbul and return home.
