Weekend Getaway: Barcelona Tour
1. Day Istanbul - Barcelona
After meeting with the representative of turumbu.com at the airport in the morning, we will head to Barcelona. Barcelona is the capital of the Catalonia region of Spain and is a cosmopolitan city located on the Mediterranean coast. Known for its rich history, unique architecture, cultural heritage, and vibrant lifestyle, Barcelona is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The places we will visit on the first day of our Barcelona trip include; La Sagrada Família, Park Güell, La Rambla, and Gothic Quarter.
La Sagrada Família: One of Antoni Gaudí's most famous works, this magnificent basilica has become a symbol of Barcelona. Construction began in 1882 and is still unfinished.
Park Güell: This park, designed by Antoni Gaudí, features colorful mosaics, organic forms, and a captivating view. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of Barcelona's most popular tourist attractions.
La Rambla: The most famous street in Barcelona, La Rambla is filled with street performers, cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. Walking along this street is a great way to feel the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic): The oldest district of Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter is famous for its narrow streets, historic buildings, and medieval atmosphere. Important sites such as Barcelona Cathedral and Plaça Reial are located in this area.
2. Day Barcelona
On the second day of our Barcelona trip, we will continue to explore the city after breakfast. The places we will see include; Barceloneta Beach, Montjuïc Hill, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà .
Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera): These two masterpieces by Gaudí are some of the finest examples of modernist architecture. Both buildings are famous for their unique designs, organic shapes, and striking facades.
Montjuïc Hill: Offering one of the most beautiful views of Barcelona, Montjuïc Hill is also home to interesting places such as the Olympic Stadium, Montjuïc Castle, and Poble Espanyol.
Barceloneta Beach: One of Barcelona's popular beaches, Barceloneta is known for its proximity to the city and lively atmosphere. Here, you can swim, take a walk along the beach, or enjoy a meal at seafood restaurants.
3. Day Barcelona - Istanbul
Unfortunately, this is the last day of our trip. Transfer to the airport and free time according to our flight schedules, flight to Istanbul and return to the homeland. We hope to come together again at another organization of turumbu.com.
