1. Day Istanbul – Amsterdam
After meeting with the turumbu.com representative at the airport in the morning, we will travel to Amsterdam. Upon our arrival, our city tour will begin. Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and one of the most popular tourist destinations. The city is known for its famous canals, historic buildings, museums, bicycle culture, and liberal lifestyle. Additionally, Amsterdam has a dynamic atmosphere that blends art, history, and modern culture. Some of the places we will visit include Rijksmuseum, the Red Light District, the Jordaan neighborhood, the canals, Vondelpark, Dam Square, Anne Frank House, and the Van Gogh Museum.
Rijksmuseum: As the most important museum in the Netherlands, the Rijksmuseum houses works from artists such as Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Hals from the 17th-century Dutch Golden Age. The museum is a paradise for art lovers and showcases the development of Dutch art.
Van Gogh Museum: This museum, which has the largest Van Gogh collection in the world, displays hundreds of the artist's works, letters, and drawings. It is a must-visit for those who want to gain in-depth knowledge about Van Gogh’s life and art.
Anne Frank House: This museum tells the story of Anne Frank and her family, who were hidden during the Nazi occupation, shedding light on a dark period of human history. The house where Anne Frank wrote her famous diary allows visitors to feel the weight of history.
Dam Square: Located in the heart of Amsterdam, Dam Square is a historic and tourist center. Important structures such as the Royal Palace (Koninklijk Paleis), Nieuwe Kerk (New Church), and the Madame Tussauds Museum are located around the square.
Vondelpark: Vondelpark, the largest park in Amsterdam, is a popular relaxation spot for locals and tourists. You can have a picnic, ride a bike, or simply enjoy the green spaces.
Canals: Amsterdam is known as “the Venice of the North,” and the city's famous canals are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. You can join a canal tour to explore the city's enchanting views from the water.
Jordaan Neighborhood: A historic area, Jordaan is famous for its narrow streets, art galleries, boutique shops, and traditional Dutch bars. You can experience local life in Amsterdam by walking around here.
Red Light District: One of the most curious areas in Amsterdam, the Red Light District is intriguing not only for its nightlife but also for its history and culture. You can learn about the history and culture of the area through guided tours.
2. Day Amsterdam – Grand Tour of the Netherlands
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will explore and discover the Netherlands in more detail. The places we will visit include Rotterdam, The Hague (Den Haag), Utrecht, Haarlem, Delft, Giethoorn, and Maastricht. At the end of our tour, we will check in to our hotel for the night.
